- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly at a bench station.
- Follow prints and drawings on a computer.
- Use quality inspection instruments to check build tolerances.
- Work with screws, bolts, framing, housings, wires, and connections.
- 3-5 years of technical assembly experience of full electromechanical builds.
- 3-5 years of experience reading assembly drawings and prints.
- 3-5 years of experience with hand and power tools, including impact drivers, manual and electric screwdrivers, and T-handle Allen wrenches.
- 3-5 years of experience reading metric and standard tape measures.
- 3-5 years of experience using calipers and micrometers.
- Experience with height gauges, thread gauges, or similar quality instruments.
- Experience with .03 micron tolerance.
- Clean room background.
Job Title: 1st Shift - Cleanroom Assembler - $19 to $20 an hour
Job Description
As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will be assigned product and build quantity goals daily. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks at a bench station with parts and tools provided. Responsibilities include pulling up prints and drawings on a computer to follow, using quality inspection instruments to check build tolerances, and working with screws, bolts, framing, housings, wires, and connections.

Work Environment
Libra Industries builds complex electro-mechanical assemblies for military robotics, microchips for medical applications, and custom machined components. We operate in a clean room, climate-controlled environment with a team size of 14-16 members. The dress code includes closed-toe shoes, jeans, and T-shirts. The shift schedules are as follows: 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime, and 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, with optional overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr.
