      We’re seeking future team members for our S.E.T.U.P Full-Time with roles located in New York City, Pittsburgh and Lake Mary in hybrid positions.

      Program highlights:

      BNY Mellon’s S.E.T.U.P 18-month (U.S.) non-rotational program aims to develop and retain high-potential entry-level technology professionals who are prepared and positioned to contribute to the successful execution of BNY Mellon’s technology strategy and initiatives.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Responsible for analyzing business functions to determine requirements and specifications for automating or improving business processes.
      • Work with stakeholders to analyze, define, and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications, and operational architecture of a functional work stream.
      • Ability to apply knowledge of major products and services to a variety of situations.
      • Manages issues and risks related to their assigned functional work stream and is responsible for ensuring the overall success of the project.
      • Works with various user stories, within agile/waterfall methodologies ensuring project best practices for successful delivery

      Program Eligibility/Qualifications:

      • Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college pursuing bachelor’s degree with a strong focus on business and technology related majors and graduating by Summer 2024
      • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
      • Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where applying

      Preferred skills:

      • A great attitude and desire for learning
      • Excellent problem solving, written and oral communication skills
      • Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration
      • Smart and driven individual who is passionate about learning new technologies
      • 0-2 years of experience in software development preferred. Previous technology internship is a plus

      BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $46,500 and $100,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
      This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
