Provide high visibility customer support through the performance of on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment
Working closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture the most-advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices
Design both hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments
Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform multiple root cause analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues
Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust
Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field
Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building trust
Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus
Able to solve problems creatively and analytically

Process Support Engineers (PSEs) play key roles necessary to complete the ‘Product Life Cycle’, from concept-to-qualification and everything in between . The PSE is customer facing, responsible for recipe optimization to maximize the performance of the designed product in support of the customer’s needs . You will partner with our globally recognized R&D teams and work directly with customers in their fabs to develop solutions that drive the semiconductor industry. The start date for this position is on July 29, 2024.Responsibilities
Our Process Support Engineers play a critical role in enabling our customers ’ success. In this role, you will partner with our globally recognized R&D teams while working directly with our customers in their fabs to develop solutions that power the semiconductor industry . Process Support Engineers work across technologies such as : Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant. World-Class Training
The 2024 Process Support Engineer (PSE) Rotational Development Program starts Monday, July 29, 2024. This full-time position starts with a 30-week training program which kicks off for 12 weeks in Austin, TX. During the first month, employees learn about our technology, meet the different account teams, and learn more about the location and team culture. After introductions, new hires will be notified of their account assignment. Although preferences will be considered, employees in the PSE Rotational Development Program must be flexible. Account locations include Hillsboro, OR (Portland Metro); Boise, ID; Phoenix, AZ; Lehi, UT; Sherman, TX (Dallas Metro); Taylor, TX (Austin Metro).

$68,000.00 - $93,500.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
