      About the Program :

      The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall development program that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We’re hiring a class of 35 - 45 to begin on May 1, 2024 starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, working hard to achieve a goal, learning new things, and improving yourself, this program might be a good fit for you.

      Program Expectations:

      • Must be able to start May 1, 2024 and attend full duration of the 8-week p rogram

      • Must be off active duty no later than April 30, 2024. (Only exceptions: terminal leave and/or traditional Guard or Reserve status, these are eligible)

      Program Required Qualifications:

      • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

      • Service in any branch of the United States military

      • Able to work on the first day of the program, May 1, 2024

      In these roles you will:

      The Data Management & Analytics Group has the following opportunities within the Chief Operating Office (COO) and Finance :

      Lead Data Management Analyst (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX ; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix , AZ; San Francisco, CA )

      • Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes

      • Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements

      • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues

      • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality

      • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures

      • Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data

      • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members

      • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy

      • Serve as relationship manager for a line of business

      • Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility

      • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies

      • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution

      • Lead or participate in moderately complex programs and initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities

      • Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality, data integrity, process, and control gaps

      • Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met and adhere to data governance standards and procedures

      • Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality

      • Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources leveraging domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design

      • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members

      • Drive planning and coordination on moderately complex remediation efforts acting as central point of contact

      • Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility

      Lead Data Product Management Consultant (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN)

      • Lead complex data product initiatives, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as key participant in large-scale planning driving data enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities

      • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term data product initiatives that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors to drive data enablement strategies and roadmaps, while adhering to set data governance and standards

      • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners to inform prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design, that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

      • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms, resolve data product issues, and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor

      • Provide strategic input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes

      • Manage complex datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance

      • Create and maintain data product roadmaps throughout the data product life cycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities

      • Design and maintain innovative data products, enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting

      • I nfluence and lead review and remediation of data quality issues to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

      This role r eport s to the Auto Pricing Manager and is a key contributor in the development and execution of strategic recommendations to help the business optimize profitability while measuring and monitoring returns on new originations .

      • R esponsible for developing materials that communicate these strategic recommendations to senior leaders throughout organization

      • Collaborate with corporate financial analytics and contribute to enterprise balance sheet optimization efforts

      • Coordinate with risk and compliance teams to ensure pricing fully accounts for risk and operates with the proper controls

      Risk Analytics Consultant (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ )

      Candidate will be responsible for analytics, statistics, and financial valuation work within the Credit Card, Business Card & Unsecured Loan origination and portfolio management space.

      • Pla y an active role supporting the business through advanced cash flow valuation work, financial performance tracking, behavioral profiling, pricing analytics, segmentation, reporting and statistical work

      • Work closely with partners in our Product Management, Marketing, and Risk Management teams to propose new business cases that are financially sound and allocate the bank’s capital in an optimal matter

      • Play a critical role in valuation modeling for potential new business initiatives, and work with partners to establish strategic initiatives and focus for the company

      • L everage creative and industry-leading technologies including Python and SAS in a fast-paced environment with senior management exposure. This position is specifically focused on driving long-term business growth

      • Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements

      • Experience using Python, SQL or SAS to manipulate and summarize data, automate reporting processes, and build predictive models

      • Financial cash flow modeling experience

      • A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis

      • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

      • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling

      • SAS programming experience in model implementation, reporting, and complex data manipulations

      • Experience developing rule-based models, advanced predictive models, and descriptive statistics
