Job Summary:

This 8-10 week internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC). Your summer will be focused in Procurement within OSC. Throughout the summer, you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSC as a whole while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way.

Throughout this experience you’ll have opportunities to meet with other rotational program participants, engage with senior leaders on topics of innovation, leadership and technology, and connect through an individual mentorship program. Our ultimate goal is to bring great talent to Raytheon. All rising senior or MBA interns will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time role or part time work as you continue your studies.

This position is hybrid in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Gain hands-on experience with real Supply Chain tools and processes
• Own or contribute to a Procurement project during your internship
• Collaborate with other intern in a Capstone Project presented to Leadership

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a sophomore or higher and actively enrolled and pursuing a BA, BS, or masters degree in the area of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a closely related field by Summer 2024
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
• Strong knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers and internal customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills – comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task
• Challenges the conventional—you can solve problems while thinking beyond the accepted solutions

• Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
