- Open a browser with the desktop, smartphone, or tablet where you saved your documents.
- Navigate to 2024 Document Drop-off Site.
- Enter your email address in the From Box. This email address is the one we will use to contact you.
- Select Youth Services in the To Box.
- In the Captcha box, enter the letters or numbers you see above and click the check mark. Matching the letters/numbers may take multiple tries.
- Once the Captcha approves, navigate to the top of the page to Upload. You can now upload all the SYEP documents you saved. Please save individually. If you did not name them as suggested in the directions above, name them before uploading them.
The Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development (DEWD) is accepting applications for Temporary Summer Youth Workers at various locations throughout Baltimore County.
Schedule: Up to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Starting July 1 to August 9, 2024.
Youth ages 14 to 21 are encouraged to submit an application.
Please Note: Submitting an application does not guarantee employment. Youth under the age of 18 selected for employment must provide a work permit. All youth selected for employment must complete the Baltimore County onboarding process.
Online applications are being accepted for the following positions:
Must live in Baltimore County
Available to work Monday thru Friday
Must be between the ages of 14 to 21 on July 1, 2024
Youth ages 18 and over will be required to complete a fingerprint background check Employment Background Investigation
Applicants over the age of 18 years old selected for summer employment with Baltimore County must successfully complete an employment investigation, including, but not limited to criminal background and fingerprinting checks.

Becoming a participant in the Baltimore County Youth Employment Program requires the collection of documents to place you on Baltimore County Government payroll. You must submit certain documents with your application. The instructions below allow you to upload your documents.
Baltimore County has created a process to upload your documents to a secure website rather than having to submit them in-person. Do not send these documents via regular email. You will need to save the documents on your desktop, smartphone, or tablet in order to upload them. You can scan the documents or photograph the documents on to your device. If you photograph the documents, make sure the picture is clear and they are saved as a jpeg, png, or pdf files. Name and save the documents individually in a location that is convenient for you to be able to upload them to the designated site, and upload each separately.
