- You have a clearly defined interest in Finance and a keen desire to learn new concepts.
- You possess high attention to detail, quantitative skills, and professional standards.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills and have strong problem-solving skills.
- You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
- You expected to graduate in 2026 (or December 2025)
- You are interested in pursuing a Junior Internship with Scotiabank in 2025

The THRIVE program is Scotiabank's premiere rotational program that allows undergraduate students to job shadow across Global Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, and Investment Banking and gain exposure across banking. For students keen on pursuing a career in banking, this Program is designed to develop awareness across business lines technical, and interpersonal skills. This Program provides life-long learning utilizing job shadowing, mentorship, and classroom-style education.
Successful completion of the THRIVE program allows students to select a track in Global Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, or Investment Banking, where they will return for a Summer Internship in 2025.
What will my responsibilities look like?
Job Shadowing: Summer analysts can shadow across Corporate Banking, Global Capital Markets, and Investment Banking. In this Program, you'll learn the day-to-day across industry sectors and will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge across projects and activities.
Mentorship: Throughout the summer, you'll also benefit from a mentorship program that pairs you with Corporate and Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets mentors to support your learning and answer any questions! You will also attend regular business line fireside talks to learn all the ins and outs of working in CIB and GCM at Scotiabank.
Classroom: Within the THRIVE program, analysts receive exclusive access to Wall Street Prep courses, coding training, case competitions, Bloomberg learning, and other relevant workshops to polish and develop technical skills. Following your time in the classroom, you will gain exposure to top global executives across the Bank to learn from their experiences and network.
