      The TRIBECA FESTIVAL is looking for creative, hardworking and responsible college students (at least 21 years old by Festival dates) and recent grads (‘20 - ‘23) that have a strong interest in film, film festivals, film related production, and event planning for the 2024 TRIBECA FESTIVAL.

      Interns will take direction from the Manager, Programming Operations and assist with the day to day functions of the Programming and the Festival Relations departments. This internship is an incredible opportunity to be immersed and gain essential knowledge of the world of independent film and the independent film industry.

      JOB DESCRIPTION

      Interns will initially start by assisting the Programming Department (along with other Festival staff members) with various administrative duties and assorted relevant projects. Such duties will include database entry, responding to general Festival inquiries, film and film related industry research. Duties and responsibilities will greatly increase as the 2024 Festival approaches. All interns MUST BE AVAILABLE to participate during the 2024 Tribeca Festival.

      This internship is slated to begin in October 2023 and lasts until the completion of the 2024 Tribeca Festival.

      JOB QUALIFICATIONS

      Applicants must be:

      • Computer literate (e.g., MS Word, Excel & Google Suite)
      • Internet savvy and phone friendly
      • Detail oriented, dedicated and energetic
      • Possess strong organizational and communications skills
      • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills
      • Have strong knowledge regarding general office duties
      • Experienced with computer database software (e.g., FileMaker Pro)
      • Strong fluency in a foreign language is a PLUS
      • Comfortable with public speaking

      HOURS

      You should expect to spend at least a minimum of three (3) or up to a maximum of four (4) seven-hour days, between the hours of 10:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., working remotely or in the structured activities of our offices. We also offer flexible work schedules for interns. During the Festival, you will be expected to work at least 30-40 hours a week.

      STARTING DATE

      The anticipated starting date is mid to late October 2023.

      PAY

      $15 per hour. Please note that in compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
