What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative and operational support for the Vice President and Grant Operations team, including organizing meetings and managing calendars
- Draft, edit, and produce briefing materials, meeting minutes, and other documents as assigned
- Prepare grantmaking data and reporting for internal and external audiences, coordinating proposals and reports for the Department of State
- Liaise with staff at all levels to ensure efficient completion of day-to-day operations and special projects
- Provide overflow administrative support and data entry for other teams as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in an office environment, including administrative support for an executive or manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Tableau, or other data visualization software
- Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
- Interest in international affairs and support of democratic institutions worldwide
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a diverse, multi-cultural office environment
