- Competent user of the intermediate functions of Microsoft Excel/Access/Word (pivot tables and basic formulae).

- 5 GCSEs at A to C or equivalent experience.
- NVQ Level 3 Business Admin or equivalent relevant experience.

- An awareness of the importance of Confidentiality in a health care setting.
- Awareness of own limitations.

- Previous validation experience.

Job summary
This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.
Please note the interview date for this role will be 29th April 2025.
We are looking for a highly motived individual to join the Data Quality Team in Business Intelligence at Barnsley Hospital. The postholder will be designated Superusers for the Trusts Electronic Patient Record System (Careflow) and a central point of contact for frontline users requiring support in Referral to Treatment pathway management and the correction of data inaccuracies in the system.
The postholder will work as part of a team and mange their own workload to highlight errors and ensure patients receive treatment as soon as possible. The postholder will identify patterns of non-compliance and assist highlighting areas of poor practice so the appropriate training and management can be delivered.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve:
Management, support and development of the Trusts critical clinical support systems (systems which hold service, user, clinical and administrative data), including but not limited to - CAREFLOW, ICE, Digital Dictation, Winscribe etc.
To ensure high levels of data quality and data assurance to the Trust and to promote clinical safety through the appropriate and secure use of trust IT Clinical systems and processes.
To provide a source of expertise to the Trusts senior management on the development and use of systems to maximise their value and effectiveness.
