SUMMARY

The 3PL Coordinator will have expertise in managing third-party logistics and a strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of all third-party logistics activities while generating the corresponding documents related to 3PL movements within the company’s ERP system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate Released Production Orders and Purchases Orders per the planning manager’s request.
• Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure smooth transportation and production operations.
• Resolve any logistics-related issues or disruptions that may arise, ensuring minimal impact on supply chain efficiency.
• Manage primal-owned inventory and movement of materials with third party and or remote locations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers to optimize service quality and consumption accuracy.
• Track all material movements for all Co-Man partners.
• Request End of Month inventory reports from each 3PL location for the cost accountant and inventory analysts to reconcile.
• Manage the accurate and timely entry of consumption data into the company’s ERP system by sending over the relevant information to 3PL email prior to material transfers.
• Ensure data integrity by verifying the accuracy of consumption records, including quantities, dates, and locations.
• Work closely with the inventory control team to reconcile consumption data with inventory levels and identify discrepancies pertaining to 3PL partners.
• Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock records for 3PL Vendors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in 3PL coordination and logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a 100% on site position at our Chadbourne office. Must be able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time..
