Responsibilities The On-Site Resources has accountability for all operations functions within all 3PL DCs. Position responsibilities are to ensure that People, Service, and Cost objectives are met while managing facility, inventory management operations, and third-party management within the South Potomac Facility. This includes: Manage a 6-7 day per week, 12-16 hour per day operation through the leadership team of our third party labor (3PL) providers. Provide leadership and oversight of one Frito-Lay DC Service Specialist and a 3PL Warehouse operation. Manage relationship with external vendors and third party labor management to ensure business delivers on key metrics Support the development and ensure execution of a training plan to ensure technical, teamwork, and problem solving skill development of the 3PL Drive performance accountability within the 3PL to deliver all key service metrics including Fill Rate, Unit Accuracy, and ASN while achieving on plan performance. Guide all aspects of the product supply process to ensure consistent product availability without inventory overages. Provide leadership to ensure cross-functional partnering in product planning for all normal and promotional activity Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly executed to maintain inventory controls at expected levels Ensure that all facilities are maintained at expected sanitation and facility maintenance levels Develop and execute an annual capital investment strategy that addresses facility needs while ensuring capability for continued business growth Support and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, FDA, EPA) in all locations Support the broader supply chain region with any additional projects Additional Tasks as needed Travel Expectations are up to 60%. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: 4 year college degree 4 – 8 years of team leadership experience, preferably in a warehousing / distribution environment Supply Chain experience is critical Proven organizational and planning skills Strong analytical skills and financial responsibility experience.
