What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for individuals in crisis
- Assess crisis contacts via chat/text to identify suicide risk and appropriate community resources
- Conduct follow-up calls for individuals identified as moderate to high risk for suicide
- Adhere to ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation requirements
- Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings, while assisting with administrative tasks as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- Six months to one year of related crisis experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate through written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods
- Demonstrated high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
- Knowledge of suicide assessments and skills in providing crisis intervention
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention and mental health support
- Familiarity with community resources for referrals and service linkage
- Certification in crisis intervention or related training
