Job Description
- Req#: 149501
- Manage leads from consumers who are inquiring about cochlear implants coming into AB from various channels.
- Counsel and lead these consumers to select AB as their product choice through regular interactions.
- Provide weekly on-call support through the Consumer Sales support center to potential candidates and recipients who may contact the company in various ways seeking information.
- Identify and report consumer complaints or suggested enhancements in our complaint tracking system.
- Support and moderate the Hearing Journey online forum including the Ask AB tool and live chats, as needed.
- Help manage contracted Chat Moderators along with volunteer forum moderators.
- Support lead processing channels including but not limited to: phones, email queues, Salesforce automated queues, and live chat.
- Timely data entry of sales communications and execution of the sales processes.
- Master’s Degree
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD)
- Previous sales or medical device experience
- The ability to complete work independently and collaborate on a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to interact courteously and professionally when representing Advanced Bionics online or in person.
- Ability to persuade others while maintaining integrity and mutual respect.
- Must work in collaboration with Director of Consumer Sales & Business Development, Manager of Consumer Programs and Education, CI Consumer Specialists, and Customer Service.
- Formal sales training
- Proficient in both English and Spanish
- Microsoft Office
- Salesforce
- Strong language skills.
- Spanish bilingual speaker with comparable written Spanish language skills
- Literate in computer, email, web and phone usage.

Overview
The Outreach Specialist is responsible for supporting our Consumer Sales support center. They positively influence device choice through interaction with candidates contacting AB in various ways seeking information.
What you’ll do:
Additional Key Responsibilities: Identify AB recipients that have a desire and the ability to mentor implant candidates through the cochlear implant process and connect them with the regional Cochlear Implant Consumer Specialist.
Travelling Requirement: 2-3 times per year

Pay Ranges: $71,855/yr - $89,819/yr
