What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Knowledgeable and proficient in pharmacy benefit structures and prior authorization processes for prescription medications
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding prior authorization and appeal details
- Coordinate with licensed healthcare professionals for information needed for prior authorizations and appeals
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all HIPAA regulations
- Complete special duties or projects as assigned by leadership

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Pharmacy Claims Processing, Benefit Verification, or Prior Authorization processing in an insurance or pharmacy setting
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Exceptional ability to provide quality customer service
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Valid license, registration, and/or certification to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing
- Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Experience in Pharmacy Accreditation
- Previous work history in a matrixed environment or call center
- Willingness to learn and grow in the position
