      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide academic advising and related services to support students with disabilities in achieving their degree objectives
      - Interpret medical, psychological, and psycho-educational assessments to determine appropriate accommodations
      - Address student concerns and university issues proactively while maintaining professional boundaries
      - Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, CSU guidelines, and university policies regarding services for students with disabilities
      - Evaluate and improve program offerings through learning outcome assessment

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a related field
      - Minimum of two years of professional experience in student services or a related area
      - Ability to understand and apply federal disability-related laws and policies
      - Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly
      - Experience in addressing student concerns and maintaining professional boundaries

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - A master's degree in a job-related field may substitute for one year of professional experience
      - Additional specialized experience in student services can enhance qualifications
      - Knowledge of inclusive design principles and accessibility best practices
