What You’ll Do

IronArch Technology is currently seeking an Accessibility Analyst to join our team. - 100% Remote Work Location

The Analyst will focus primarily on core testing and validating systems for accessibility. They will be responsible for developing and codifying accessibility processes, procedures, and best practices for our federal customer. They will evaluate content (webpages, reports, PDF documents, training material, etc.) and will participate throughout the project by identifying compliance risks, and suggesting possible mitigation strategies. The Analyst will work with designers and application developers, as well as system/site owners, to ensure that accessibility standards are maintained.

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform manual testing for accessibility on wide range of content using assistive technology and other tools.
• Accessibility testing on a wide range of content including PDFs, video content, non-web content, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Use tools and follow established processes/procedures to meet and maintain Section 508 and WCAG compliance on both internal and external applications.
• Document accessibility compliance in audit reports that include specific reference to WCAG 2.0 Level A, AA compliance and recommended solution that is easy to understand by both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Present audit findings to the customer and explain recommended solutions noted in audit report, as needed.
