What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Record transactions and adjustments by posting, monitoring, and verifying data and computerized records
- Audit and review loan balance data, make account adjustments, and process reconciliations and payments
- Conduct various student loan balance reconciliations and assist with processing Direct Loan Consolidations
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and federal and state regulations while providing reporting on multiple program requirements
- Address borrower program concerns and operational requests, ensuring high levels of privacy and security for customers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in administrative support within the accounting, banking, lending, or student loan industry
- 12 months of computer experience in a business environment
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
- 12 months of experience working on a student loan contract or in a call center
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneNote
- Background in payment processing or performing accounting functions, including balancing and reconciling financials
- Experience reviewing contracts and application documents for completion and accuracy
