      Account Executive, Higher Education Marketing

      Remote-based position in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, or South Carolina

      As an Account Executive, Higher Education Marketing, you will sell multimedia enrollment marketing campaigns that include digital display, search engine marketing, social media marketing, video, content marketing, and more. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a consultative sales approach, and a relentless drive to build and grow your own book of business while contributing to a collaborative team.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, focusing on new business growth while expanding existing relationships.
      • Engage with higher education decision-makers to understand their marketing needs and craft custom digital advertising solutions that exceed expectations.
      • Conduct strategic prospecting, lead generation, and outreach to build a strong client base.
      • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presenting to closing deals and ensuring client success.
      • Work closely with internal teams to execute and optimize marketing campaigns.
      • Maintain a high level of activity, consistently building and advancing opportunities through the sales funnel.

      What We’re Looking For:

      • Five years of experience in higher education marketing, enrollment, admissions, student services, or higher ed agencies.
      • A hunter mentality with strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
      • The ability to translate client needs into compelling, data-driven marketing solutions.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to pitch to senior executives.
      • Excellent follow-through, customer service, and relationship management skills.
      • A self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • A competitive edge and the ability to thrive under pressure.
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
      • Reliable transportation for in-person client meetings as needed.

      Compensation & Benefits:

      • Base Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 per year
      • Total Potential Compensation with incentives: $83,500 – $93,500+
      • Uncapped earning potential with a competitive commission structure
