What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive strategic business expansion and collaboration opportunities with major cancer centers and oncology practices
- Develop and implement comprehensive business plans, including budgets and goal setting for the assigned territory
- Promote compliance with new web-based molecular information tools for clients
- Analyze the competitive landscape and provide feedback to leadership based on customer insights
- Collaborate with various sales positions to achieve company goals and objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of direct account management experience in a molecular diagnostic setting
- 3-5 years of experience working with major cancer centers and oncology practices
- Proven track record of revenue generation in a diagnostic or biotechnology company
- Strong understanding of the payor and reimbursement environment in oncology diagnostics
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing
- Experience engaging with executives (CEO, COO, CFO) in a consultative selling process
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated strategic sales account planning skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
