      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Drive the sales process from start to finish, meeting or exceeding annual quotas
      - Perform research and develop a business development and marketing plan for assigned territory
      - Actively seek out new sales opportunities through various methods, including cold calling and networking
      - Collaborate with the solution development team to deliver compelling solutions to customers
      - Build and maintain executive-level relationships within local government sectors

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
      - Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience selling solutions to local government or related entities
      - Strong understanding of financial statements and operating budgets
      - Expertise in MS PowerPoint and exceptional writing skills for proposals
      - Ability to travel up to 50% for client sites and industry events

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Sales experience with facilities, facility systems, and energy solutions
      - Proven track record of proactive prospecting at the financial decision-making level
      - Experience in developing and delivering persuasive proposals for RFPs and RFQs
