What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and scale the Strategic Account Management (SAM) program for the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market
- Develop and implement account plans to achieve revenue targets in collaboration with internal teams
- Identify and pursue high-potential cross-sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Conduct market research to identify client needs and support business development efforts
- Facilitate internal collaboration between teams to promote substantial business development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in the SLED sector, with five (5) years in a business development capacity
- Deep understanding of the education and state/local government ecosystems
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business revenues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to public officers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a consultative or sales role within K-12 or higher education
- Strong network of existing relationships with education/government leaders
- Ability to sell solutions in a multiproduct and multiservice environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve client success
- Comfort presenting in webinars, events, and training sessions
