Manage territory assignment and pipeline activity; participate in sales forecasting.
New business creation through lead follow up (phone, email, marketing campaigns, referrals, etc.); coordinate strategy with field partner to qualify and identify leads.
Renewal follow up; coordinate strategy with field partner to establish partnerships and maintain long-term relationships to ensure customer success, retention and expansion.
Seek presentation opportunities with key clients and senior-level administrators to negotiate and close opportunities.
Energetically work the pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans with field partner to achieve territory goals.
Manage account and contact information through the entire sales lifecycle process using Salesforce.com.
Remain highly knowledgeable of ExploreLearning products and industry to facilitate sales efforts.
Seek to obtain understanding of competitors' activities and competitive offerings.
Seek to master understanding of industry, trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
The role may include occasional travel.
Develop and maintain a positive business relationship with management, inside and field sales associates, and related ExploreLearning department staff.
2+ years sales or customer service experience.
Confidence and motivation.
Organization skills and attention to details.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
An obsession with customer service and quality.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work with others in team to achieve common targets.
Associate’s Degree or Higher preferred.
Experience or background in education with focus on math or science.
Knowledge of on-line curriculum products and services; knowledge of math and/or science curriculum; understanding of the K-12 market.
Proficiency with Salesforce, MS Word and Excel.
Comfort with utilizing technology as primary work tool.
Account Manager
Location: Fully Remote, USA
Job Overview:
The Account Manager in partnership with a Field Representative will develop and close new and renewal business opportunities within an assigned territory. This role will grow territory revenue by effectively managing an assigned set of accounts, continuously feeding a sales pipeline/funnel of potential customers, identifying target customers for new sales, cross selling and upselling with acquired customers, engaging customer retention and contract renewal efforts.
This role will be assigned an annual sales plan which will be measured on an ongoing basis to evaluate performance.
