POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary purpose of the Account Manager is to increase revenue through acquisition
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage book of business amounting to a minimum of 20% of total Aloha Air Cargo company revenue.
2. Manage key accounts that produce largest volumes and revenues.
3. Act as subject matter experts (SME) for key service programs relating to Interline Cargo shipping and carrier relationships; FlexShip deferred service; and Same Day service with intent to guide commercial strategies and execute aligned tactics across Sales Team and all other customer territories.
4. Manage the overall customer satisfaction and profitability of key accounts by:
• Understanding the customers end use business/markets
• Establishing and strengthening customer relationships with decision makers across functions and regions.
• Building strong working relationships with Business Leaders and your team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to your customers.
5. Develops and implements sales plans for profitable
• Effective delivery of key customer programs including communication strategies
• Working with the Management team to assist with developing the Sales Strategy.
• Following up on sales leads supplied by the Management and/or support team.
• Attending industry trade shows to represent and promote AAC and its services as required.
6. Manage yield growth and minimize rate structure exception throughout the customer base.
7. Create and maintain a database of accounts.
8. All other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Minimum Qualifications
• Degree in Business Administration
• Manager must be proficient in MS Excel
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation to visit outside accounts; sales and marketing functions
COMPENSATION
This position has a starting salary range of $68,790 to $85,980 per year.
