- Expand Market Presence: Develop new business within the Academic/Education sector by proactively identifying prospects, leveraging social selling techniques, and nurturing relationships through strategic outreach. Utilize a blend of traditional sales methods and digital networking to increase LION's market penetration and establish a trusted presence within the education industry.
- Establish a Strong Presence: Engage with customers and educate the market on fire safety training, positioning yourself as a trusted expert within the education vertical.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Use solution-based selling to understand each customer's unique needs, providing insights that position LION as the preferred choice for fire safety solutions in academic environments.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts and share relevant market trends to assist with product positioning and business development within the education sector.
- Continuous Learning & Tool Adoption: Stay up-to-date with emerging sales technologies, including AI-driven tools, to maintain a competitive edge in sales outreach and customer engagement.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the Academic/Education sector, with a strong track record in consultative or solution-based selling.
- Proven experience in social selling and digital networking, with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Digital proficiency, with a strong understanding of online sales tools and a commitment to using technology to enhance sales productivity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an aptitude for creating engaging social content and thought leadership specific to education.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers within the education market.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Sales Leadership, Marketing, and the broader sales team to align strategies and drive impactful customer engagements.
- Engage regularly with key decision-makers and influencers within the Academic/Education vertical.

This open Account Manager position is dedicated to the Academic/Education sector. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business within this vertical by building relationships and establishing LION as a leading voice in fire safety training. This role is ideal for a resourceful, digitally savvy sales professional with expertise in the education industry who excels at social selling and has a passion for using advanced sales tools to drive engagement and growth in the market.

$60,000-65,000 annually with a variable compensation component.
