What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect payments on past-due mortgage accounts through outbound and inbound calls
- Locate clients using credit bureau information, background checks, and loan documents
- Ensure compliance with investor guidelines and state laws regarding debt collection
- Track and document all communications with clients to maintain a detailed history
- Support the default team with loss mitigation tasks and other assigned functions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in mortgage servicing or collections
- Strong understanding of mortgage servicing, specifically default and loss mitigation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

- Experience in customer service within the mortgage industry
