What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with hospitals, academic institutions, and specialty practices to drive sales
- Deliver effective presentations and sales calls to promote the product portfolio and achieve sales goals
- Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to enhance product and patient flow through various channels
- Develop and execute strategic business plans tailored to specific accounts and healthcare providers
- Attend industry events and meetings to represent the employer and build professional relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred; or at least five years of relevant industry experience required
- Minimum of three years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred
- Proven account-based selling experience in hospitals or similar environments
- Strong sales performance history with advanced sales skills and ability to communicate complex products
- Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed selling environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with specialty pharmacy products and knowledge of formulary approval processes
- Documented history of building advocacy within hospitals and achieving formulary wins
- Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills
- Ability to learn and communicate complex scientific information quickly
- History of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams
