Under general supervision, this position provides essential support to NCBVI’s financial operations by performing routine and technical accounting tasks. Primary responsibilities include data entry for accounts payable, preparation of deposit documentation, payroll certification, and supporting the creation and oversight of contracts as needed. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions using the Enterprise One financial system.

Job duties
Enter and code accounts payable documents in the EnterpriseOne financial system. Prepare and submit deposit documentation for incoming funds. Certify payroll transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of related documents. Create and assist with oversight of agency contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines. Review and reconcile financial data, correcting discrepancies and coding issues as needed. Generate standard reports to support internal tracking and decision-making. Communicate with agency staff and external vendors regarding payment and billing inquiries. Maintain organized records in compliance with agency and state requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework or vocational education in accounting, finance, business administration or related field OR experience performing accounting functions including interpreting and analyzing financial data.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Other : This position requires up to 10% travel including occasional overnight stays. As such, the incumbent must be able to present a valid driver’s license or another form of reliable transportation. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of EnterpriseOne (E1) or similar financial systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review. Basic understanding of accounting principles and contract administration. Ability to follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality. Effective communication and organizational skills.
