      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform a variety of accounting functions related to federal, state, and private research grants, contracts, and gift funds
      - Ensure compliance with grantor and contractor requirements to support the employer's mission
      - Maintain accurate financial records and reporting for grants and contracts
      - Collaborate with various departments to facilitate financial management and reporting
      - Analyze financial data and prepare relevant reports for stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent years of education and experience
      - Minimum of three years of accounting experience, including at least one year in grant/contract accounting
      - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
      - Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
      - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate
      - Experience with Lawson ERP software
      - Familiarity with pediatric healthcare accounting practices
      - Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
