      Job Description

      The Accountant will be responsible for coordinating daily accounting activities, creating journal entries in the ledger, preparing tax returns, developing financial statements, reporting financial status to stakeholders, and managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as the following:

      • Securing the timely update and reconciliation of the company’s data regarding General Ledger and Analytical Accounting;
      • Updating of Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and Suppliers’ Accounts Master Data;
      • Reconciliation and follow-up of the company’s purchases, sales, and payments;
      • Following up the bank and cash balances;
      • Participating in the operational accounting process;
      • Preparation of internal and external ad hoc reports;
      • Participating in the monthly and year-end closing process;
      • Communication with auditors, banks, and other external parties.

      Qualifications

      Who are you?

      you'll need to have:

      • Knowledge of accounts payable and finance operations.
      • Accounting and tax knowledge.
      • Knowledge of invoice processing and payment solutions.
      • Knowledge of supply chain operations in wholesale business.
      • High interest in finance and supply chain.
      • Enjoy working in a fast-growing business and facing challenges arising from constant growth.
      • Ability to work under time pressure, plan towards deadlines, and prioritize.
      • Ability to work independently meanwhile being a good team player.
      • Ability to identify gaps in processes and instructions and suggest changes to ways of working and tools.
      • Good stakeholder communication skills.

      This position is full-time and is located in Kuwait. Some travel may be required.
