What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Enter and manage accounts payable transactions in Intacct accounting software, ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Review and verify employee expense reports and timesheet coding for accuracy
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is included
- Perform routine accounting tasks such as data entry, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial documentation
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions for audit and compliance purposes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in basic accounting tasks, including accounts payable processing and invoicing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions
- Good verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPA or other relevant accounting certifications
- Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
- Familiarity with grants management and federal grant reporting requirements
- Familiarity with Intacct accounting software or similar accounting systems
