Bachelor’s degree, preferably Accounting, Business, or Finance
Three years of related experience
Possess or working towards a designation (CA, CMA, CPA, CGA)
Working knowledge of SAP S4, SAP Fiori, Triple Point (TPT), etc.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
Self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset
Act as a key participant in developing and implementing Emission Commodities in TPT process to support growth opportunities in Emission Commodities world
Perform day-to-day and month end accounting tasks for provincial and federal Emission programs across North America
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, including Front Office Trading & Marketing, Regulatory Reporting, IT, Settlements, BP&A, Accounting Policy, etc.
Assist senior analysts in carrying out complex calculations and accounting processes
Lead ad-hoc projects within Hydrocarbon Accounting team
Work mostly independently with minimum assistance, whereas coaching is provided on interpretation of new and/or complex requirements
You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
