What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Record monthly journal entries, perform reconciliations, and complete month-end tasks as assigned
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly close duties
- Follow documented procedures to maintain compliance with US GAAP
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and collaborate with various departments
- Participate in external audits and prepare year-end tax returns with outside firms

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting function
- Experience in the senior living industry is highly desired
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Familiarity with accounting systems, with Yardi preferred
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
