What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Fiscal Officer and Research Administrator with financial transactions and account management
- Initiate payments to vendors, faculty, and students using disbursement vouchers and procurement cards
- Coordinate and manage travel requests and expense reports for faculty and graduate students
- Maintain and reconcile procurement card transactions on a monthly basis
- Provide main office coverage and assist coworkers with various duties as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education with 1-3 years of related work experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software
- Ability to understand technical or medical terminology relevant to the field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and database management
