Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists with the preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules.
• Prepares or assists with the preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Assists with annual budget planning and preparation.
• Assists with monthly and quarterly scrubs of reserve accounts for home health and hospice.
• Assists with journal entry preparation and loading into Peoplesoft.
• Assists with testing system changes.
• Assists in the preparation of the company’s current, quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Assists in the preparation of internal management reporting.
• Analyzes information, develops practical and creative solutions to problems, determines project conclusions and recommendations and participates in the decision-making process as appropriate.
• Collaborates with team members to set goals and responsibilities. Contributes ideas/opinions, listens/responds to other team member’s views.
• Keeps supervisor informed on status of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or a graduate degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
