- Oversee the general accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Manage the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Monitor and review monthly reports to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate year-end audits and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as internal policies.
- Manage cash flow and oversee cash management activities.
- Handle accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the implementation of new accounting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting
department, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial statements and
reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role
will also involve managing a team of accountants, maintaining financial
controls, and supporting management with financial data and analysis.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr.
