What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete daily accounting tasks, including balancing and exception processing
- Reconcile various accounts for clients, including bank accounts and fixed assets
- Train credit union staff on financial reporting and accounting functions
- Perform period-end closings and prepare financial statements
- Maintain detailed task management and project statuses within established software
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Prior job experience in back-office accounting within the credit union or banking industry
- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites for training and support
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential data with discretion
