      Job Summary:

      The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for maintaining and recording accounts receivable, accounts payable. This includes but not limited to daily recording of customer invoices, vendor invoices, maintaining customer and vendor information across multiple systems.

      Key Responsibilities and deliverables:
      • Support accounting activity for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
      • Billing for daily completed service calls.
      • Monitoring multiple customer portals and submission of records for payment.
      • Assist with processing customer payments by check, credit card, and EFT.
      • Assist with processing vendor payments by check, credit card, and EFT.
      • Track collection progress and contact customers for payment.
      • Receive, process, and reconcile credit card statements.
      • Assist with preparing and recording bank deposits.
      • Generate and review monthly reports.
      • Assist with preparation for annual audits.
      • Assist Accounting Team with monthly and annual financial closures.
      • Compliant with internal accounting procedures.
      • Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
      • Assist Accounting Team with projects and tasks as needed.
      • Perform administrative and other tasks as needed, assigned by Manager of Administration and Accounting Manager.

      Education/Experience:
      • 1-3 years of general accounting experience
      • 1-3 years of experience working with accounts receivable and accounts payable
      • Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
      • Sage Intaact experience preferred.
      • Basic Microsoft Excel experience


      Physical Requirements:
      • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
      • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
