What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive, review, and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring vendor details are accurate
- Maintain vendor records and resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Process accounts payable transactions and expense entries
- Answer AP-related inquiries and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Generate reports as needed and enhance knowledge of financial operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional accounting coursework preferred
- Prior experience in an accounts payable role is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in a related field
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder interactions
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of accounting principles related to accounts payable
