What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of bills and payments
- Develop scalable processes and policies to support department goals and key metrics
- Analyze and assess AP workflows, transactions, processes, and reports, instituting new policies and technological solutions as needed
- Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
- Provide accounting support related to prepaid and fixed asset schedules and assist with month-end closing procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA is a plus
- 4+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices
- Experience with accounts payable software and T&E software
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing outsourced accounting staff in different time zones
- Certifications such as Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
