What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and follow up on rejected and unpaid claims according to established standards
- Analyze and appeal unpaid and denied claims with insurance carriers
- Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and collections effectively
- Communicate clearly and timely with clinicians and patients regarding billing inquiries
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, including handling medical claims and insurance collections
- Proficient understanding of insurance guidelines, especially Medicare and Medicaid
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is a plus
- Ancillary billing experience is preferred
- Experience working in a medical practice environment
