What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable for all payers, including the resolution of denials
- Work with EDI transactions and ERA files, reconciling carrier submissions, edits, and rejection reports
- Research and resolve accounts listed on the Delinquent Insurance Report, Collection Ledger, and Government Payor report
- Make appropriate decisions on accounts to maximize reimbursement as directed by management
- Handle all correspondence related to insurance or patient accounts, contacting necessary parties to achieve client profitability

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Receivable follow-up experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to address account issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and insurance carriers
- Familiarity with medical billing processes

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with the Epic Billing System
