      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform a variety of activities to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely billing for health center services
      - Follow up on claims and contact Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) as needed
      - Review electronic claims submissions and conduct eligibility verifications
      - Ensure appropriate reimbursement from all payor sources
      - Maintain knowledge of healthcare billing processes and regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent required
      - Minimum of three years of healthcare cash posting or billing experience required, or a combination of education and/or experience in a related field totaling three years
      - Knowledge of automated business applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database management applications required
      - Data entry experience required
      - Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with healthcare billing and coding
      - Familiarity with managing claims and understanding payer requirements
      - Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
      - Previous experience working with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
