What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims, working with payers to resolve issues
- Research and analyze claim denials, correcting and reprocessing claims as needed
- Identify root causes and denial trends, providing recommendations to prevent future denials
- Participate in team meetings to share insights on denial trends and improve collection processes
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics while collaborating with supervisors for continuous improvement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and various insurance claim requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working in a team environment
