What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims, working with payers to resolve denials
- Research claim denials to determine root causes and recommend solutions to department leadership
- Execute accurate write-offs for uncollectible accounts following established policies
- Participate in team meetings to share denial trends and contribute to workflow improvements
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics, collaborating with supervisors for performance enhancements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and insurance claim requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills
