      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims, identifying reasons for denials and correcting claims for reprocessing
      - Research denial trends and make recommendations to prevent future denials while maintaining knowledge of payer requirements
      - Conduct eligibility and claim status inquiries via outbound calls and web tools, documenting all actions taken according to department policy
      - Participate in team meetings to share insights on denial trends and contribute to workflow improvements for enhanced revenue collections
      - Meet established productivity and quality metrics while collaborating with supervisors on performance improvement strategies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
      - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
      - Knowledge of healthcare billing, including CPT/ICD-10 coding and various insurance claim submission requirements
      - Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills
