Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
Internship experience required.
Professional experience in acquisitions or underwriting preferred.
Understanding of fundamental real estate valuation and investment concepts – IRR, cap rates, etc.
Strong quantitative skills.
Excellent communication ability (both oral and written).
Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Working with the acquisition team members to create cash flow projections for properties identified as potential investments.
Conducting market rent surveys.
Responding to the requests of lenders throughout the acquisition process.
Helping to prepare submissions to Fairfield’s Investment Committee.
Assisting in due diligence as needed.
Maintaining pipeline reports for various fund vehicles.
Performing various other types of analysis, research, and financial modeling.
Some travel required.

Acquisition Analyst - Multifamily Housing
Fairfield is seeking an Acquisition Analyst for Multifamily Housing. This role involves identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting market analysis, and supporting the acquisition team in various tasks. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field, internship experience, and strong quantitative skills.
This position reports on-site at our corporate office in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, CA.

Estimated Rate of Pay :
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00
This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.
The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
