      Part time (28 hours per week)

      PO1: Starting salary £40,389 pa rising in annual increments to £42,855 pa pro-rata incl LW

      Fixed Term Opportunity until 30 September 2026

      VenueLambeth are responsible for facilitating, delivering and promoting events within indoor venues across London Borough of Lambeth. Our aim is to provide our residents, local community and the wider London market with an eclectic and diverse range of spaces for community events, commercial hire and private celebrations within our heritage venues. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and client communication, from enquiry to event delivery, ensuring all event logistics are managed to the highest standard.

      About the Role:

      This is an exciting opportunity to join VenueLambeth on a 4-day per week (28 hours) basis responsible for the project development of the onsite activities, audience growth, training and volunteer plans and associated strategy for the National Lottery Heritage Fund project at Brockwell Hall.

      In collaboration with the Heritage Lottery Fund, Lambeth Council and the Brockwell Park Community Partners, the project bring significant investment to ensure the future of Brockwell Hall, with a key focus on heritage and culture while offering customers outstanding facilities for a range of events. The post holder will be the lead officer for all community and heritage activities within the Hall and will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the Activity and Interpretation Plan.

      The post will involve close liaison with the Project Manager, the Venue Manager, the Brockwell Park Community Partners and other key stakeholders to deliver their work. The post holder will be the lead officer for local engagement and developing partnerships which meet the project’s outcome requirements.

      You will have proven experience in working with the local community, partners and stakeholders in the development of new events, activities and small-scale projects. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project processes and how to manage activities and events within listed buildings and / or heritage sites.

      The role is seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills to build good working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and will suit a candidate with lots of creativity, energy, initiative, and vision.
