What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, organize, and lead person-centered, meaningful, and age-appropriate programs for residents
- Encourage resident participation in activities and assist with transport to and from events
- Collaborate with management to procure necessary supplies for programming
- Document resident activity participation accurately in electronic records and coordinate with care team members
- Assist residents during mealtimes, fostering socialization among residents and team members

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas, methods, and technologies
- Ability to build trust and establish productive relationships with residents and team members
- Prior experience working directly with residents in long-term care and/or with dementia is preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in leading activities or programs for seniors
- Knowledge of person-centered care approaches
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Skills in fostering social engagement among residents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding resident information
