Job summary
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Your role will involve devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the wellbeing, independence and social engagement of the residents.
Main duties of the job
The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating a wide range of activities for the residents of the care home. This includes getting to know the residents and their families, and then creating tailored activity programs that cater to their individual interests and needs. The role requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work closely with the residents and their families to ensure a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
